First, thank you for taking the time to check out this app prototype—it truly means a lot to me. Below is an interactive preview that you can click through to test the different modules. This is not a finished app and new modules and features will be added, This is one of the reasons I am looking for feedback from you.
A few quick notes before you dive in:
- Cross-Platform: The app will be available for both Android and Apple (iOS/iPadOS), and will also run on desktop computers as a WebApp.
- Cost: The app will be a $100/year subscription and includes a one-time 30-day free trial so you can test it in your shop risk-free (optional AI tools are pay-as-you-go).
- Clean, Step-Through Design: I did my best to keep the data entry screens clean and uncluttered. Using step-through screens makes the app much easier to read and navigate.
- Craft-Optimized AI (Optional): AI tools are optional, but built specifically for our craft with strict guardrails for accuracy:
- Smart Invoice Conversions: I am building a complete Weight-to-Length conversion chart for precious metal wire and strip. When you import a supplier invoice showing only metal type, total weight, and price, the system automatically converts that weight into length for your inventory—letting you review, edit, and approve it before saving.
- Honest Market Pricing & Critique: When researching the market for a piece you’ve made, the AI is guided to recognize that platforms like Etsy are loaded with mass-produced imports disguised as handmade. It cross-references multiple legitimate sources beyond Etsy and analyzes your actual craftsmanship to give you an honest grade and critique. Paired with the Rock-Cam, it works from true, color-corrected photos rather than digitally enhanced images.
- What You’re Seeing: This is a framed preview with sample data to show the phone and tablet layouts. The desktop view will be formatted differently to make full use of a larger screen.
Once you’ve clicked around, there is a short feedback form below the prototype (entering your email is completely optional).
Again, I truly thank you,
Willie Sims
